Prepare yourself for a short and sweet empties post! I know that empties posts are a little old school, but I still really enjoy reading them. It's the best way to get someone's honest opinion about a product. With that in mind, let me talk to you about my trash...
L'Oreal Air Dry It Ruffled Body Mousse
Thoughts: This mousse started out strong for me, but unfortunately it frizz-led out by the end... ;) The claims and the packaging grabbed my attention immediately. It worked well at first, but after a while I started to notice every time I used it, my hair would somehow look dry at the ends and greasy at the roots. It's almost as if my hair just started to reject the formula. I am always on the hunt for a good drugstore mousse, but unfortunately this didn't make the cut.
Repurchase?: No, I will not be buying this product again.
Liquid Keratin Filling Leave-in Conditioner
Thoughts: I was gifted this back when I was panicking about my hair condition before my wedding. Overall, it was okay. I think that it was a nice lightweight leave-in conditioner but I didn't notice any drastic improvements or anything with the condition of my hair.
Buy Again?: No. This was a decent product, but I don't think that it was good enough for the price point. There are plenty of drugstore leave in conditioners that work just as well, if not better.
Neutrogena Body Clear Body Scrub
Thoughts: I bought this when I started going to the gym regularly because apparently, my body doesn't react well to sweat. I started to break out badly on my back and shoulders and since my wedding dress was strapless, I was desperate to find a quick fix. Neutrogena definitely did not disappoint. This body scrub worked SO well. It got rid of all of that annoying backne and it happened within a week of using this scrub. *Note: I did not use this as an overall body wash, I ONLY used it on areas that had broken out.
Buy Again?: Yes, I will definitely be repurchasing this again!
Gillette Venus with Olay Shaving Cream
Thoughts: I am a HUGE fan of Olay body wash, so when I saw this I knew that I had to give it a go! It worked beautifully. Olay is very moisturizing which is crucial for me when it comes to shaving. This shave gel came in two scents, Vanilla Cashmere and Violet Swirl. I went with the Vanilla Cashmere which was delicious and not too overpowering in the scent department.
Buy Again?: Yes. I am currently testing out another Olay shave gel, but I will definitely be sticking with Olay shaving products.
Neutrogena Visibly Even Daily Moisturizer With Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen
Thoughts: This is hands down my favorite daily moisturizer. I have been using this for three years now and it never disappoints. It definitely evens out my skin. I noticed a huge difference after about 30 days which sounds like a long time, but it worked well. I also LOVE that it has SPF and it still feels lightweight on my skin.
Buy Again?: Yes, I have aready repurchased. :)
NYX BB Cream
Thoughts: I have been using this product for about a year now and I love it. I think of it as my affordable-option-everyday-foundation. It is your typical BB cream but it feels light and natural on the skin. I prefer a lighter coverage for an everyday foundation so this really works for me.
Buy Again?: Yes, and I am currently using it.
Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Facial Cleanser
This stuff is my go to daily facial cleanser. I am a 27 year old woman and I know that I should be using some sort of fancy cleanser, but this stuff works! In fact, every time I try another cleanser, I always come back to this little gem. It does everything that it claim when in comes to breakouts. I enjoy the scent, but I understand that grapefruit scents may not be everyone's up of tea! It makes my skin feel clean and not dry. Plus it is very affordable which is always a plus!
Repurchase?: Yes, it is what I am currently using.
Tree Hut Shea Extra-Rich Moisturizing Lotion Coconut Lime
I love this stuff! It is my all time favorite scent, seriously it's delicious. The formula is very rich and creamy. I love using this after I shave my legs or after a day at the beach. It also comes in a scrub which I enjoy using.
Neutrogena Rapid Clear 2-in-1 Fight & Fade Toner
I bought this toner to go along with the Neutrogena Bodywash. Honestly, I wasn't that impressed. It didn't do much for my skin and it was a little too drying. Definitely not my favorite toner.
