Last weekend John and I were determined to get out of the house, so we took a little trip to Bradenton. We ended up in a bar playing darts and watching some baseball like the badass grieving hipsters that we are. Does anyone play darts anymore? I don't know, but I promise that the shot above was me and that it actually happened. I don't know how, but it freaking did okay!? After darts, we went to dinner at a little restaurant on the water.
Getting out helps. We have been functioning in a daze since last Thursday. The grief comes in waves. It's going to be painful for a long time, but we are trying really hard to distract ourselves. This weekend we are planning on cleaning out our storage unit and deep cleaning the car. This is because I'm a psycho who LOVES to clean and organize especially when I am upset. Look, it's how I cope and I'm dragging John along with me. Don't worry, we will go to the beach or something with his parents for Father's Day too. Hey, I may even take a Zoomba class! (I love Zoomba!) Who knows? We are just trying to stay busy. Also, can I just say that I am litterally editing this post on my IPad while laying on my yoga mat post workout because I meant to do it this morning but I forgot. First of all, classy AF (...not) and second it's 2017 y'all and this is how procrastinators get shit done. Not that it really matters, because I don't think anyone is going to read this anyways...#blogger #bossbitch #blessed. Happy weekend all!
